Kaiko has recently expanded its offering by creating Kaiko Analytics and Kaiko Indices. These new business units aim at supporting the digital assets investment lifecycle by powering Investment Strategy & Optimisation, Risk Monitoring and Compliance Reporting.
This wide range of products will cover areas such as index construction & valuation, asset pricing and valuation, advanced risk metrics, quantitative data production and investment decision support.
We’re now looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join the Engineering team and work alongside the Analytics and Index product teams on the integration of their tools into the Kaiko platform.
You will be joining a fast-paced engineering team made up of people with significant experience working with terabytes of data. We believe that everybody has something to bring to the table, and therefore put collaborative effort and team-work above all else (and not just from an engineering perspective).

Develop and industrialize pricing models, quantitative calculation prototypes, index construction and valuation prototypes
Integrate index & analytics tools and libraries into the platform
Scale analytics and index calculation services
Improving our development workflow, continuous integration, continuous delivery and in a broader sense our team practices
Expanding our platform’s observability through monitoring, logging, alerting and tracing
Design, develop and deploy scalable and observable backend microservices
Reflect on our storage, querying and aggregation capabilities, as well as the technologies required to meet our objectives
Work hand-in-hand with the analytics team on developing new features, addressing issues and extending the platform
Significant experience in quantitative development in Python 3, C# or C++
Knowledgeable in software development in general: code versioning, release management, testing, etc.
Worked with, in no particular order: microservices architecture, infrastructure as a code, self-managed services (eg. deploy and maintain our own databases), distributed services, server-side development, etc
Understanding of financial instruments, financial market data and derivatives pricing
Comfortable working with massive data querying and management
