The Position
We’re looking for our first account executive in Asia to:
build a sales pipeline for our SigDev Terminal,
manage and respond to inbound customer inquiries, and
expand relationships with existing clients
You have a strong interest in crypto, data, finance, and trading. In addition, you’re excited to work in a fast-paced start-up environment where there are always new projects and challenges. While day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around business development, you will have the opportunity to learn different functional areas of the business working side-by-side with the founders and business partners, and interacting with customers.
What You Will Work On
Build out a sales pipeline and drive revenue growth for The TIE’s SigDev Terminal
Manage the sales process in our CRM
Attend conferences and events to generate new opportunities within Asia
Work with your account manager to build strong client relationships and drive up-sells to existing clients
1-5 years of experience selling products or services to institutional investors, with a demonstrated track record of success
Familiarity and prior usage of institutional financial data products is highly preferred
A strong understanding and passion for finance, cryptocurrency, and data
You must be able to speak about topics like layer 1s, DeFi farming, DAOs, and blockchain data
A creative and entrepreneurial mindset. You’re self-driven and will be able to work in both a team environment and work independently
The versatility and interest to learn new technologies and skills
An understanding of the various institutional client types in crypto (hedge funds, OTC desks, market makers, quant funds, etc.) and the distinct information needs of each of those clients
